Inside Industrial Equipment Parts Sales Representative

Recycling Equipment Manufacturing in Priest River, Idaho produces equipment used in the Recycling Industry. We are seeking a representative to handle parts sales, equipment trouble-shooting and technical support to our customers.

The person we are looking for should be qualified to:

• Provide the highest level of customer service to our Customers.
• Work with other departments (production, drafting, electrical, sales? To assess problems and find solutions.
• Research custom equipment parts lists and design modifications to provide parts solutions to meet the customer’s needs in a timely basis.
• Develop critical spare parts lists for our equipment and market to customers with existing equipment or pending equipment orders.
• Handle packaging and shipment of parts, assuring parts arrive in working condition and in a timely manner.
• Monitor all back orders, customer technical issues and paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
• Develop, maintain and grow Customer business through cold-calling, telephone prospecting, direct mailers, e-blitz’s, fliers, etc.

This is not a counter sales position, you must have some mechanical parts knowledge as well as being computer literate. You will work with Quickbooks and excel, doing simple tasks and calculations. You must be organized, like to research issues and be detail oriented. You will be working with customer maintenance personnel, helping them to correct their “out-of-service” status and must have a sense of urgency in getting to the root of their problem and providing solutions.

Fitter/Welder

Assembles and tack-welds steel frames and other component parts of machinery and equipment in preparation for final welding: Measures and marks locations for metal components on assembly table, following blueprints. Lifts and positions components on assembly table, using electric crane, jacks, and shims. Verifies position of metal components in assembly, using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and rule. Clamps metal components to assembly table for welding. Removes rough spots from components, using portable powered grinder, to fit and assemble parts. Tack-welds parts in preparation for final welding. Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, or gas welding equipment. Moves assembly to storage area, using electric crane, forklift, pallet jack, carts, or hand trucks.

Basic requirements: Boots, welding tools and helmet, leather gloves, miscellaneous hand tools, and safety glasses.

Steel Parts Fabricator

The job of the Steel Parts Department is to provide steel parts to the welding department for the purpose of building the equipment we manufacture. Parts are produced using a computerized Plasma Cutting Table, Drills, Lathes, Punches, Presses, Sheers, and Saws.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Produces parts in the machine shop using drills, lathes, etc.
2. Bends parts per the drawings using the press brake.
3. Produces parts according to drawings using the saw, drill press, sheer, etc.
4. Ensures quality of parts produced in a timely manner.
5. Participates in the development of best practice processes and procedures in the department.
6. Participates in Continuous Improvement of the department.

TRAINING, EDUCATION, AND COMPETENCIES
The person who fills this position must:
1. Be a good team player.
2. Demonstrate good attendance.
3. Have the ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math skills.
4. Other as directed.

General Laborer

GENERAL LABOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Follow project instructions from manager or supervisor
• Use and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
• Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment
• Ensure regulated and proper headgear, ear plugs, gloves, safety glasses and clothing are worn
• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Safely operate a variety of tools including pressure washers, drills, saws, grinders, and blowtorches
• Provide assistance to parts cutters, welders, electricians, painters and assemblers as needed
• Clean to include sweeping, mopping, etc.
• Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly

GENERAL LABOR REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus
• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds
• Must be comfortable climbing up tall ladders, working at elevated levels
• Positive attitude and work ethic
• Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
• Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management

Solidworks Designer

Recycling Equipment Manufacturing in Priest River, Idaho produces equipment used in the Recycling Industry. We are seeking a Mechanical Designer with experience in SolidWorks.

The successful candidate will need to be able to thrive in a challenging and fast paced work environment. This person will need to master a full working knowledge of an in-depth product line, including company processes, and industry standards. You will be responsible for taking sales drawings created in AutoCad and create fully detailed models and drawings in Solid Works. Responsibilities also include engineering documentation, change requests, work instructions and BOM’s. This position will require interfacing with production and sales while working in a shop environment, in addition to troubleshooting and problem solving skills. All work is to be done on site, no telecommuting.

ASSEMBLER, MECHANICAL

Assembles machinery, such as crushers and conveyors, according to blueprints and shop orders, for processing materials, such as UBC, PET, OCC, and ONP: Positions parts in frame of machine, using hoist, and bolts stationary parts in place, using impact wrench and hand tools. Removes burrs and rough spots from parts with hand file and portable pneumatic grinder. Aligns bearings with shafts in machine. Inserts shims and turns setscrews to set clearance between parts and verifies clearance, using scale and fixed gauges. Test and adjust machinery. Fastens lift chain around machine and directs overhead crane in moving machine to storage area. Package machinery for shipment. Ship packaged machinery.

INDUSTRIAL PAINTER

POSITION SUMMARY:

Sprays surfaces of machines, manufactured products, or working area with protective or decorative material, such as paint, enamel, glaze, gel-coat, or lacquer, using spray gun.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Inspects product for defects and blemishes.
2. Cleans grease and dirt from product, using materials, such as lacquer thinner, soap, and water.
3. Cleans and prepares surface of articles to be painted, using pressure washer.
4. Applies masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated.
5. Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired viscosity, according to specifications, using paddle or mechanical mixer.
6. Replaces screens and filters.
7. Pours coating liquid into spray container and connects gun to air hose, using wrenches. Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray according to knowledge of painting technique. Pulls trigger and directs spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish coat.
8. Coats areas inaccessible to hand sprayer, using brush.
9. Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with water or solvent. May use grinder, wire brush, or steel wool to remove rust from metal.
10. Loads and moves materials to work area, using carts, pallet jacks, forklift, hand truck, or hoist. Pushes painted articles to and from drying oven.
11. Cleans spray and drying chamber, tanks, hoses, and nozzles, using solvent, brushes, and cloths.
12. Racks work pieces on carts; and inspects, marks, and transfers finished pieces to assembly room or shipping areas.

TRAINING, EDUCATION, AND COMPETENCIES

1. Good written and oral communication skills.
2. Must have good mechanical aptitude.
3. Must be able to learn to fill out appropriate paperwork for order intake, processing, and shipping.
4. Must be able to perform basic math skills.
