REM CC5B Perforator

CC-5B Perf Going Out to Mississippi

REM CC5B

The REM® CC-5B PERF consists of four basic components:
1. In-Feed Conveyor with Hopper
2. Crushing Mechanism
3. Temporary Capture Tank
4. Out-Feed Conveyor
Plastic bottles or aluminum cans are loaded into the conveyor hopper. The primary function of the in-feed conveyor is to meter the materials into the crushing mechanism.

Plastic bottles or aluminum cans drop into the crushing mechanism where a cleated drum or perforation mechanism with teeth rotating at high speed pulls the bottles or cans against an adjustable steel pressure plate, crushing or perforating the material. From the crushing mechanism, the material is discharged onto the out-feed conveyor.

The out-feed conveyor carries the material out of the unit allowing the liquid to drain into the temporary capture tank and into other user-supplied balers, bunkers, containers, conveyors, shredders, and or other devices for additional processing or transport.

The out-feed conveyor includes a freshwater rinse head with a standard garden hose connection. We recommend that you run water when operating the crusher mechanism which should aid in the production of cleaner material.
